Google Search terms

Use quotes to search for an exact word or set of words.
This is useful for searching for song lyrics or a quote.

Put a Dash before a word that you want to exclude in your search.

Use a Tilde before a term to include results with its synonyms

Use site: to search within a specific website

Use link: to search for sites that link to the specific site url

Use two periods between two numbers to express a range to search between, for example dates measurements or prices

Use related: to find websites that are related to the specified site
